SqlWeb Explorer was created to
provide a tool for developers who must
work with remote databases. Up to
now, the only thing going has been
clunky Web interfaces - there is no
Windows GUI tool available that works
through the webserver for any database.
SqlWeb Explorer
doesn't require any intervention by your
ISP. Just copy a few ASP or PHP
files up to your webserver and away you
go!

Supports SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle and
others
Just one tool for all of the most common
databases. What a dream for people who
work with remote databases! There
are two versions of the server files:
ASP and PHP. Use ASP files where
you have a Windows webserver and will
connect to a database using ODBC/OLEDB.
Use PHP where you have a Linux webserver
using a MySQL database.
Consider these SqlWeb advantages:
-
View and manage your SQL Database
through your webserver
-
Rich Windows GUI interface
-
No server components to install -
just upload a few ASP or PHP
webpages and away you go!
-
Explore your database using the
TreeView and Grid - just point &
click to view table data in the
Grid. Execute SQL queries
using any number of query windows.
-
Powerful Import / Export facility -
great for moving data from your
development PC up to your webserver.
-
Copy data from the Grid using Ctrl+C
or via context menu

Just think:
You only have to copy a few ASP or PHP
webpages up to your webserver,
install the SqlWeb Explorer Windows
client program and you can instantly
begin working with your SQL database
through a cool "Query Analyzer"-like
Windows program.
Windows GUI Interface:
You've probably used a database web
interface at least once. While it
does allow you to get in and work with
your database, it is very unpleasant to
work with data in a web browser.
SqlWeb Explorer
is a real Windows GUI program, using a
real grid component for displaying your
database data. Here are a few
great features:
-
Open any number of Query Windows.
-
Have any number of SQL commands in a
Query Window - highlight (select)
the command you want to execute and
only that command is issued.
-
Save your often-used queries to disk
and re-open them any time later.
Powerful Import / Export Facility
Many website administrators must develop
on their local PC, then when ready,
update the live database. Often,
besides structural changes, there is new
data to be inserted. This is where
SqlWeb Explorer really makes life
easier. Here are the steps:
- Make all of your database changes on your local database.
- Connect to your local database using SqlWeb Explorer. Export
the desired data using SqlWeb Explorer's Export facility.
- Connect to your remote database using SqlWeb Explorer. Import
the data using SqlWeb Explorer's Import facility.
It really is that easy.
Exporting and Importing takes only a few seconds.
